How it started
What began in 1951 as a small, one-man operation in Germany grew into a worldwide network dedicated to musical instruments and sound. Today, MEINL is recognized as one of the most renowned companies in the global music industry.
Building on this strong foundation, Meinl Sonic Energy was created in 2014. The journey began with handcrafted Symphonic Tam Tams for orchestras produced in Germany, whose deep, immersive tones opened a new realm of sound exploration.
From there, the brand gradually expanded beyond the orchestral world and increasingly embraced sound healing, meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation. The range then grew to include Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, Energy Chimes, Sound Effects, and many other instruments designed for meditation, relaxation, and sound therapy.
At this time, Sonic Energy offers one of the most extensive ranges of sound healing instruments, used by therapists, musicians, Yogis, children, and individuals around the world.
