"When designing this stick, it was really important to create something that would complement my playing style. I utilize a lot of double strokes, so it was crucial to have a stick with the heft and shape to dig into the drums on any surface with great rebound – whether it be the
hi-hat or the floor tom – yet still remain balanced enough not to
feel too large or overbearing. To achieve this, we took inspiration
from marching sticks that I used from my drumline days, then furthered that with a design and scale that works for the drum set. I’m beyond thrilled with what we achieved, thanks to the amazing and hardworking team at Meinl Stick & Brush."
